Surat : Colouring and drawing may seem like a simple task but there are so many learning benefits for children to engage in the act. Children need hand strength and dexterity to manipulate a pencil on a paper. Working with crayons can enhance strength and eliminate the possibility of incorrect pencil grips. Good nutrition clubbed with right physical activity is an imperative part of leading a healthy lifestyle.
G. D. Goenka International School adeptly brought the two components, health and fun together in an interhouse coloring competition held on account of world health day. The competition was conducted for students of Grade 1 and 2 on 06.04.19 in the school campus. The little artists chose their work stations under the open sky as they started to work on their master pieces.
Students were encouraged to give their best by the art teacher Ms. Ekta Mehrotra under the guidance of Coordinator Ms. Binal Desai, Asst. Coordinator Ms. Shilpa Khandelwal and the Principal Dr. Moupali Mittra.
