Surat: The Central Board of Secondary Education has initiated the application process for the Supplementary Examination 2025 for the students of classes 10th and 12th. Today, June 17, 2025, is the last date to apply without a late fee. Schools have been instructed to submit the list of candidates online through the CBSE portal.
This supplementary exam is intended for the students who have received a compartment failed in one or more subjects in the main board exams. These students are being given another opportunity to improve their performance. Applications for the exam must be submitted by the respective schools, for the students cannot apply independently.
This is for students who missed today’s deadline. CBSE will accept applications on June 18 and 19, with a late fee of Rs 2,000 per student. The board has made it clear that students can only appear for the subjects in which they received a compartment or require improvement. The exam form must be submitted online only, and no offline or direct applications from students will be accepted.
The CBSE also emphasized that this is a one-time opportunity. Students who fail to complete the application process within the given timeline will not be given another chance to appear in the supplementary exam. However, the schools and students are urged to act promptly to avoid missing out.
