New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has decided to stop its agreement (MoU) with Inonu University in Turkey. This decision was made because of national security concerns and recent problems between India and Turkey. The main reason is that Turkey has shown support for Pakistan on serious topics like terrorism and Kashmir, which has upset India. JNU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, said the university made this decision after talking to the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
