Dabhoi, Gujarat: Under its CSR initiative for FY 2024-25. Branch International has partnered with Lokmangalam Charitable Trust to strengthen access to quality education and digital leaming for children across Dabhol, Gujarat, and nearby rural areas.
The collaboration focuses on advancing Quality Education (UN SDG 4) by improving access to books technology, and engaging learning experiences for children from underserved communities
With CSR support from Branch International, Lokmangalam Charitable Trust has procured two Mobile Library and Computer Lab Vans. Each van is equipped with 10 laptops and over 1500 age-appropriate books, creating a moving classroom that brings leaming directly to government schools in remote villages
These mobile learning resources now reach children on a regular basis, holping them develop reading habits, digital skills, curiosity, and creativity.

A First-of-Its-Kind Learning Experience for Rural Children
For many children in these villages, this is the first time they have ever seen a computer or laptop-let alone used one. The mobile computer labs provide rural students with something they had only dreamed about: the opportunity to explore digital tools, read books of their choice, and experience joyful leaming
With weekly visits, the program builds excitement and consistency. Children eagerly wait for the mobile vans to arrive, actively participate in storytelling sessions, and proudly learn basic computer skills
Impact So Far
- Approximately 240 children per day participate in storytelling and reading sessions
- Around 120 children per day receive guided computer training
- Students are developing stronger vocabulary, reading confidence, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills
Beyond academics, the consistent presence of the mobile learning team sends a powerful message to students someone cares about them and their future.
With Branch International’s CSR support, Lokmangalam Charitable Trust is changing the lives of many rural children, opening doors to learning opportunities that were once out of reach.
