Sarvajanik University, Surat, has taken a pioneering step by organizing the first Academic–Industry Meet under the Proposed Forum of Commerce and Management Educators and Industry Practitioners of South Gujarat on 20th December, 2025. The meet was held on the theme “Decoding AI in Management Education: Are We Ready for the Challenges?” The objective of the initiative was to bring together commerce and management educators and industry professionals from South Gujarat on a common platform to discuss emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and required reforms to align academic curricula with contemporary industry needs.
The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. Kiran Pandya, Hon’ble Provost of Sarvajanik University, and was inaugurated by Prof. Parimal Vyas, Hon’ble Provost of Auro University. Eminent keynote speakers Mr. Himanshu Bhatt, Leadership Coach and Incubator, and Shri Rachit Khator, CEO and founder of Stackby.com shared insights on leadership, innovation, and AI-driven transformation in management education. Faculty members from over 100 colleges and universities across South Gujarat actively participated.
