Surat: The Central Government issued campaigns of rainwater harvesting where CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to affiliated schools regarding the collection and conservation of rainwater. Schools are instructed to establish proper systems for rainwater harvesting. The decision aligns with the broader educational department initiative encouraging sustainable practices in institutions. CBSE is also trying to make things much better, and the students get the proper knowledge of rainwater collection systems.
So the CBSE has done this system in many schools to have such project and guidelines about the perfect knowledge rainwater harvesting by which in future we get proper amount water for us also for other needy people who want some water the guidelines are directly come from Central Government that in every school there will be such project or such campaigns for rainwater harvesting and collect such amount water in rainy season and this was broader educational department initiative encouraging students to do that in their schools.
This type of project was held the previous year, and the Central Government has this project named “Shakti Abhiyan,” which also emphasizes the importance of rainwater collection. The purpose is to educate students on the benefits of water conservation and practical applications in schools. Schools are required to establish proper arrangements for collecting rainwater and then utilizing that water.
