The Pre-Primary Section of GDGIS, Surat celebrated a heart-warming and joyous Christmas event, bringing together children, parents, and teachers in a festive spirit filled with laughter, joy, and memorable moments. The event, which was held on 24-12-24 Tuesday, was a delightful amalgamation of creativity, music, dance, and community spirit, with a special emphasis on the involvement of parents, making it a truly inclusive and enjoyable occasion for all.
The school grounds were transformed into a true Christmas – Santa Land, with sparkling lights, colourful decorations, and a towering Christmas tree for the celebration. The children, dressed in their finest Christmas attire, added to the festive charm with their excitement and eagerness. The little ones’ faces lit up with anticipation as parents arrived, ready to share in the magic of the day.
The event began with a warm welcome address by the Director Principal Mrs. Jayshree Choraria, who expressed the importance of celebrating such occasions as a school community. Christmas is not just a time of giving, but a time for coming together. It is a time to reflect on love, kindness, and unity, which are values we cherish and nurture here at GDGIS, Surat.
The Christmas celebration kicked off with a vibrant Poetry Recitation Competition that showcased the talent and creativity of the young students in a Competition form. At the end of the program the winners were declared. The children, under the guidance of their teachers, put on an impressive show filled with Christmas carols, dance performances (by our Evening academy)
The youngest children of the Pre-Primary section sang popular Christmas carol – ‘I’m a lil star’. Their enthusiastic performances filled the air with the magic of Christmas, as parents clapped along and sang in harmony.
The event was organized by the Pre-Primary Section Coordinator – Mrs. Ankita Mulia and the Associate Coordinator Mrs. Shreya Narang Aneja. The complete program was guided by the Director Principal – Mrs. Jayshree Choraria.
