The pre-primary section of G D Goenka International School set a benchmark with the much-anticipated Vocabulary Parade held on 7th December 2024 in the Sports Dome. The event commenced on a high note with an electrifying band performance by the youngest maestros of the school, a unique spectacle that distinguishes G D Goenka at this tender age.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, graced by the presence of our esteemed Director Principal, Ms. Jayshree Choraria, Pre-primary Coordinator, Ms. Ankita Mulia, and Associate Coordinator, Ms. Shreya Narang. The audience was warmly welcomed with an inspiring speech by Ms. Jayshree Choraria, setting the tone for the event. The first slot of the parade was hosted by Ashika Mittal Ma’am and Jaya Ma’am, with our charming young co-hosts Dheer Dhariwal and Heerva Desai. The second slot was eloquently hosted by Ms. Shreya Narang, Pre-primary Associate Coordinator, alongside the adorable co-hosts Anaira Agarwal and Kiaansh Agarwal, who captured hearts with their confidence and charm.
The parade saw Nursery students dressed as letters, while Junior KG and Senior KG students creatively represented words. Adding to the visual treat, teachers also participated, embodying various words and showcasing their enthusiasm alongside their students. A highlight of the event was children stepping forward to confidently explaining the letters and words they depicted, captivating the audience with their expressions and understanding.
The engaging setup in the Sports Dome included games for parents, focusing on English vocabulary and synonyms, adding an interactive dimension to the day. Parents expressed their delight at the imaginative presentations, creative costumes, and the seamless execution of the event.
The celebration concluded with a delicious meal in the school’s dining area, leaving smiles on every face. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Pre-primary Coordinator Ms. Ankita Mulia, marking the end of a day that beautifully blended education, creativity, and joy. The event was meticulously captured by professional photography and cinematography, ensuring that the cherished memories of this fantabulous parade will last a lifetime.
