GD Goenka International School, Surat, celebrated the remarkable achievements of its Class X and XII students for the academic year 2024–25 at a grand felicitation ceremony held on 21st June 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium. The event honoured subject toppers, rank holders, and students who secured a perfect 100 in various subjects, applauding their hard work and academic excellence.
The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of GD Goenka’s flag bearers – Vismay Daga, the Class X school topper who secured the second rank nationally and first rank in the state of Gujarat, and Siya Singhania, the Class XII school topper and second rank holder in Gujarat. Their stellar accomplishments brought immense pride to the school community and continue to inspire their peers to strive for excellence.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Provost Dr. Kiran Kumar Pandya of Sarvajanik University and Guest of Honour Ms. Bharti Sharma, Senior Academic Director of the GD Goenka Group of Schools. Their presence added prestige to the occasion.
The celebration was held under the guidance of Director Principal Mrs. Jayshree Choraria, Director Operations Ms. Sejal Thakkar, and the dedicated coordination team comprising Higher Section Coordinator Ms. Hetal Tamakuwala, Higher Section Associate Coordinators Mr. Sohel Makwana and Mr. Belal Fayaz, and Primary Coordinator Ms. Shilpa Surya.
