Dr Pandya, who completed his PhD in England, has previously held significant positions at VNSGU, KP University, and Uka Tarsadia University in Surat.
Dr. Kiran Pandya, a prominent economist from Gujarat and former member of the Central Statistical Organization, has been appointed as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of a leading public university operated by a prominent public society in Gujarat. He officially assumed the role on Friday.
Dr. Pandya completed his PhD at the University of Sussex in England and has since held various roles, including teaching and serving as the In-Charge Registrar and Head of the Department of Human Resource Development at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. In addition to his teaching career, he has actively contributed to national statistical work with the Central Statistical Organization and conducted regional evaluations for various Gujarat government projects. Dr. Pandya has also served at KP University in Vadodara and Uka Tarsadia University in Bardoli.
The public society managing this university is one of the leading and oldest educational institutions in Gujarat.
