The Surat Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 77th Chartered Accountants Day on 1st July 2025 with zeal and grandeur. The event, themed “Umang Fest & Hastaksar,” reflected the unity, cultural vibrance, and professional spirit of the CA community.
The day began with a ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the felicitation of committee menmebrs of Surat Branch of ICAI by Lions Club Surat and Hyundai Motors. The celebrations continued with a colorful cultural program featuring dance, singing, storytelling, and other performances by members and students, showcasing the creative side of the profession.
CA. Ashwin Bhauwala, Chairman of the Surat Branch, expressed his sincere gratitude to all members, students, and guests who contributed to the success of the event. He emphasized the evolving role of Chartered Accountants in nation-building and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening community engagement and professional pride. As a part of celebration a Tree Plantation, Walkathon and Financial Literacy Drive organized by Surat Branch of ICAI on 29th June 2025.
The celebration brought together the CA fraternity in a joyful and inspiring atmosphere, reaffirming their commitment to ethical practice and nation-building.
