Today, 3rd October, 2024, marks the first day of the auspicious Navratri festival and the launch of “Plant a Smile” Campaign in association with Sunita’s Makerspace at Vatsalyadham.
“Plant a Smile” Campaign aims to promote a cheerful society and well-rounded individuals through activities encouraging mutual respect, creative workshops, and environmental conservation. The initiative fosters goodwill, knowledge sharing, and happiness, leading to positive social change.
The “Plant a Smile” Mashal rally commenced on 3rd October at Vatsalyadham with a torch and will visit 100 educational institutions by 11th October, culminating at Laxmi Vidyapeeth, Sarigam. Students from Laxmi Vidyapeeth will then carry the message forward for ten days, spreading it to rural areas.
During the rally, students from Vatsalyadham will visit various institutions, participate in tree planting ceremonies, and engage in activities promoting physical and mental well-being. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between affluent and underprivileged children, fostering connections among over 500 participants.
As envisioned by Ms. Kinjal Gajera, founder of Sunita’s Makerspace, sharing happiness with others is crucial to creating a better world. The seed or sapling of happiness sown today through this rally, will eventually become a banyan tree and grow strongly with happiness and joy in the society. The rally’s core message is: “ONE HAPPINESS” is the key to a better world, and “Plant a Smile” campaign brings this vision to life.
