Scholar English Academy’s Innovation Fest Dazzled with Kids’ Startups, AI Models, and a Robot from Taiwan.
Surat: Aiming to challenge the digital age’s ‘copy-paste’ culture and promote children’s original thinking, Scholar English Academy (CBSE) organized the innovation fest ‘Prizma 1.0’ on Sunday, at the Science Centre in Satellite, Surat. Running from 3 PM to 8 PM, the event saw a large turnout of students, parents, and city residents.
The fest went beyond being just an exhibition. It became a live platform showcasing children’s imagination, confidence, and practical knowledge. Science projects, AI-based models, and innovative ideas created by the students drew the attention of all attendees.
Rajesh Maheshwari, Trustee of Scholar English Academy, said that with the growing use of Artificial Intelligence, children are showing less tendency to think independently and experiment. “Through Prizma 1.0, we emphasized completely offline activities, allowing children to present their handmade models and ideas directly to people,” he explained.

The biggest highlight of the event was that students presented their startups and business ideas on stage to the general public for the first time. Adding to the excitement, a special robot from Taiwan interacted with the children and posed for photos, becoming a major attraction for the audience.
Younger students conducted live interviews with senior city officials and public representatives under a podcast initiative, which were later presented as podcasts. To encourage creativity, an art gallery showcased paintings and artworks created by the children, earning widespread appreciation.
Alongside technology and innovation, the event also featured a cultural program. The amphitheater hosted singing, dancing, and drama performances throughout the day, making Prizma 1.0 both an educational event and a family entertainment hub.
According to the organizers, the fest was open to the entire city, not limited to a single school. With underground parking and the open environment of the Science Centre, it offered families a perfect Sunday opportunity to learn, explore, and experience the talent of young minds.
