Surat: L.P. Savani Academy School has organized a special workshop for their school students, and the workshop is for the SSIP 2.0 (Student Startup and Innovation Policy). This was held in their school. Their main objective is to promote innovation and startup thinking among the school students, and they were guided on how to take their ideas to practical business models and turn their ideas into real business solutions. Dr. Chintan Oza startup ecosystem advisor, and PMU officials led the workshop and explained the SSIP 2.0 framework in detail.
The objective was to develop creativity, encourage problem-solving, and guide students in identifying societal issues that can be solved through innovative thinking. The students were introduced to various aspects of the startup journey, such as idea validation, prototyping, and project funding. They were also guided on how to register under the SSIP platform and take advantage of government schemes.
The event has highlighted how SSIP 2.0 provides strong government support for students to build impactful startups from a young age. Future opportunities like Startup Day 2025 and National Innovation Festivals were also discussed to motivate students to continue their entrepreneurial journey. The workshop successfully sparked entrepreneurial curiosity among students and empowered them to become the innovators and changemakers of tomorrow. The students were guided on registration, documentation, and presenting their ideas under the policy.
