Surat: Most of the news people have seen on news channels and the internet about the NEET 2025 Exams, but some people haven’t seen the NEET 2025 scam news on the internet. This news is also quite interesting, which means that the NEET 2025 examination is scheduled for May 5. A major scam has been uncovered involving agents in cities like Surat and Indore. The agents were allegedly guaranteeing over 650 marks to students through unfair means. The NEET exam, which will witness participation from over 23 lakh candidates at 5,453 centres in more than 500 cities, has been compromised by brokers who, along with coaching institutes, have been contacting students and parents with fraudulent offers.

Investigations revealed that those agents, called “dalals,” were charging up to Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore per student, promising scores of 650 or more out of 720. In a recent revelation, five such brokers from Surat and Indore have been named in the scam. The modus included manipulating students’ Aadhar details post-deal to shift their exam center to another state, facilitating easier implementation of malpractice. The concerned district education officers in Gujarat noted Aadhar updates within six months, raising red flags. Gujarat Police and the state education department have become active, and multiple investigation teams have been deployed. The Gujarat DGP has also initiated parallel investigations. A key breakthrough in data analysis from Karnataka, where private reports exposed the dealings of these agents.

These 5 agents are suspected to be involved. From Rajkot: Dhaval Sanghvi, from Ahmedabad: Vipul Teriya and Apurva Shah, from Surat: Prakash Teriya, and from Indore: Manjeet Jain are under suspicion. Authorities believe these individuals played key roles in manipulating exam logistics and students’ details. Police are currently verifying the Aadhar changes and contact points between the agents and students. This scandal raises deep concerns about the integrity of one of India’s most competitive exams and the extent to which vulnerable students and families are being exploited. Further investigation is underway.
