    Shakti Dubey secures AIR 1 in UPSC 2024-25; 3 Women in Top 5

    Prayagraj: UPSC has released the final result of the Civil Service Exam of 2024. Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj has become the All India topper. A total of 1009 candidates’ names are included in the merit list that has been released by UPSC in the Civil Service Exam 2024. In this merit list, the Top 5 and the Top 5, there are 3 women they are: 

    Shakti Dubey with Rank 1

    Harshita Goyal with Rank 2

    Margi Chirag Shah with Rank 4 

    On Rank 3 and Rank 5 are both boys, they ar, Archit Parag Dongre with Rank 3 and Akash Garg with Rank 5, and on Rank, Aayushi Bansal secured 97th rank in UPSC 2023 and 188th rank in 2022Ahe total of 1009 candidates have been selected in UPSC CSE. Out of these, 335 are from the General category, 109 from EWS. Economically weaker section, 318 from OBC, 160 from SC. Scheduled Caste and 87 from ST. Scheduled Tribes have been selected.

    Those 3 women have made it to the Top 5 merit list of UPSC toppers, and the other 4 girls are included in the top 10. UPSC said that the toppers have graduated in engineering, humanities, science, commerce, medical science, and architecture from IIT, NIT, VIT, JNU, Delhi University, and Allahabad University. The UPSC Civil Service exam was held on June 16 last year 2024. With the total number of 9,92,599 candidates who have applied for this examination, out of which 5,83,213 candidates appeared in the exam. A total of 14,627 candidates were found eligible for the written exam, which was held in September 2024, and out of these, 2,845 candidates were selected for the interview, and out of these, 1,009 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for appointment to various services. The UPSC CSE prelims exam was held on June 16, 2024, while the mains exams were conducted between September 20 to 29, 2024. At the same time, the interview was conducted between January to April, 2025.
