    Surat Boy Vivaan Shah Wins Bronze at National Badminton Championship

    Young shuttler wins the third place in boys Under 13 singles at one of the most popular Yonex Sunrise Sub Junior National Championships at Bihar.

    Surat: The young badminton player of Surat, Vivaan Shah has once more made the city proud after winning a bronze medal (3rd place) in the Boys Singles Under-13 event during the Yonex Sunrise 37th Sub Junior Badminton championship that was held recently in Bihar.

    Vivaan is a student trainee in Maneet Pahuja Badminton Academy, Surat that is celebrating this good performance nationally. Having occupied the 5 th position in the tournament, Vivaan was very focused and displayed a lot of fighting power to occupy the podium, which indicated his growing strength in the Indian badminton.

    It is one of the bronzes that Vivaan possesses in terms of its achievements. He was a winner in Boys/Under-13 All India Ranking tournament in Mumbai in the singles tournament, Boys/Under-13 All India Ranking tournament in Bengaluru and the runner-up in Boys/Under-13 All India Ranking tournament in Goa.

    According to coaches of Maneet Pahuja Badminton Academy, his success was attributed to discipline, regular training, and general attitude on the court and this was what made Vivaan successful. It has also been brought into focus of his performance that the academy believes in developing young badminton in Surat.

    Vivaan also said that he owes a debt of gratitude to Scholar English Academy, Dumas, that has supported and encouraged him throughout and has made him be able to juggle between sports and education.

    After performing relatively consistently at the national stage, it is evident that Vivaan Shah is one of the most promising young badminton players of Surat in the years ahead and people of the city will be proud to follow his career.
