G.D.GOENKA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, renowned for its vibrant and inclusive events, hosted its much-awaited 13th Annual Pool Party on 02-05-25 Friday, transforming the premises into a dazzling Brazilian Bizbash! The celebration, curated especially for our Playgroup (PG) and Nursery children along with their loving mothers, was a joyous blend of water fun, colour, culture, and connection.
The tropical theme inspired by Brazil’s famous carnivals came alive with bright décor, festive music, and playful vibes. The venue was adorned with colourful décor, eye mask making activity corner, various child friendly games that set the tone for a fun-filled, exotic escape. The little ones arrived in party attire and later changed in adorable swimwear to complete with sun hats and cheerful floaters, ready to dive into a world of splashes and smiles.
The mothers and children were welcomed with neon party hats and fresh fruit juices at the pool as they entered the party mood. The pool area was divided into safe splash zones for toddlers and interactive play corners, all supervised by trained staff and lifeguards to ensure a secure and carefree environment. The event featured a variety of activities including water games, bubble play, foam corners, and a dance session that had everyone grooving to the rhythm.
One of the highlights of the day was the Mother-Child Aqua Zoomba, where they participated enthusiastically, creating heart-warming moments of bonding. A Brazilian-inspired snack counter served delicious tropical treats, including mini burgers, fresh fruit cups, and ice-cream, giving everyone a taste of Brazil’s sunny flavours.
The entire event was organized by the Section Coordinator – Mrs. Ankita Mulia and the Associate Coordinator Ms. Shreya Narang under the guidance of our Director Principal – Mrs. Jayshree Choraria with her valuable inputs.
As the event concluded, each child received a themed souvenir to cherish the memories of their very first Brazilian carnival by the pool. The 13th Pool Party was a resounding success — a day where cultures met, water danced, and hearts connected.
