At White Lotus International School, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by joyfully welcoming Ganpati Bappa into our hearts. This sacred ten-day festival is embraced with great enthusiasm and reverence by our teachers, faculty, and students alike. For our kindergarteners, it’s a special time as they pay tribute to Lord Ganesha, believing that the Lord of Wisdom has come to celebrate his birthday with them and bless them with good health, knowledge, and good habits.
The festivities were brought to life by our tiny champions, who planned a party for Lord Ganesha, creating beautiful images of the Elephant God and decorating his form with love and creativity. Our primary students view Lord Ganesha as both a child and a friend, feeling a deep sense of joy when he visits them. His presence brings gifts, treats, and a variety of traditional sweet and savory delights. Together, the children sing in unison, “Oh My Friend Ganesha, Tu Rehna Saath Hamesha!”
Our Principal, Mrs. Purvika Solanki, added a special touch to these days, organizing engaging activities and leading the joyful morning aarti, making the experience even more memorable for the children. The festival is a true celebration for them, filled with fun and happiness as they spend ten blissful days with their beloved buddy.
Though it’s difficult to say goodbye to their magical friend, they part ways knowing that, just as they return home after school, Ganesha must also return to his heavenly abode.
